Still two days behind.

A.
Hang clean + clean.
Warmed up to 85.
85, 95, 105, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140 – failed the clean retried, got it, 145 f,f,f, 125.
Not bad since my 1 rm is 155.

B. 105# hang squat clean all unbroken though I nearly lost my grip on the last two reps of round 5.
Rows were :39, :38, :37, :36, :38

C.
Handstand plate walks. Went up to about 4-5 inches. Challenging but good.

(Luke) Great job on the handstand walks. I have been experimenting with the plates lately and it is definitely a challenge. How far into the walk did you place the obstacle? I found that one plate was manageable but 2 up, 2 down was super tough.

Lol! No I wasn’t walking. I was up against the wall and stepping up and down on a plate between my hands. I WISH I could HS walk! Working towards it. This is supposed to help with learning weight transfer for real walking.

Not hungry at all for this one either especially after 2 hours of tennis training at 100* weather right before CrossFit but I don’t like to complain or make excuses so went for it with my soul crushed.

9:41 Fran
15:31 Run (was way more than 800m, this would put be at an 11:00 mile, I’m normally a 8:00 mike fatigued).

Happy with my Fran time though. Closer to about 5:30 subtracting rest and walking from rower.

Shin splints suck man. Only been dealt them once during triathlon training.,ouch. I got best relief from a shit ton of calf stretching combined with any sort of deep tissue massage to the anterior muscles. Or just kick stone colds ass. Best of luck.

When I have trouble with shin splints, it’s one of two things. Over use on things like box jumps or running OR shoes. I have to be really proactive with good shoes to prevent them. Hope you fet better soon. ?

Thanks Janelle! I think it might be over use with the running and jumping. It stinks because I don’t feel any pain while I’m running or jumping until AFTER. What trainers do you use?

Great work Teddy! I’m currently nursing a shinsplint aswell. So no running or double unders until the pain has completely resided. My coach advised to incorporate running or double unders once a week from that point on untill it’s back to normal. I’m almost free from pain so next week I’m going to start building up again. But man it sucks bro!
Atleast it rekindled my deadbeat relationship with the Assault Bike and rower 😉

Bike commuting is the best! You’re legs will get used to it and then it’ll be no big deal after a while.
