Cool, I’m planning 225/250/265 then 275 if I have time and hit 265. How did your legs feel at that weight and what %of 1rm is that for you? Hoping to hang with you and Chris M on this one

I still have problems with the full clean and 1 rm power for me is 275. My legs felt fine throughout and even pulled the 260 to chest level. If I had decent technique I could have went heavier.

I’m with you on the PCs. For years I could PC far more, then I did a comp that had max squat cleans at 225 in 2mins. It forced me get better technique. Only recently did I surpass my PC 1rm with a squat clean, but my form still sucks

Rx – 8:25, 225# (matched 1-RM), started @ 175# then 195, 210, 225… what i found worked for me was not putting DB’s down… pause up top if u must but DO NOT put them down. Burpees, control breathing and do a pace where u don’t stop… i did not sprint them, just kept consistency. Take 2 deep breaths after the burpees and get back on those DBs. GL all, have fun and a great wknd

18.2 as Rx – 9:41 I’m so freaking slow at burpees. DB squats felt good, although I started to feel the burn on 9 and 10. 18.2A: 265 I went for 275 with 4 seconds left and rushed the whole process so, I fell on my arse (kinda bummed). It really is hard judging these workouts, working out alone lol. I should have started at 265 because I really wanted to hit 275 and 285 if I had the time but, i missejudge my remaining time and my legs. Also, I’m sorry for not responding more frequently to all your… Read more »

Did 18.2 scaled.

10:45 (too slow on the burpees)
155 clean.

Will redo on Sunday. Need to speed up the burpees and make it burn. Time to stop being a baby about it!
And I also need to make sure I have a higher clean for my first attempt as 155 was done as a power clean and felt easy.

I timed out with 9 burpees left. My burpees over barbell are slow.

I finished the burpees and did some cleans after the cap just because and got up to 165.

I’ll be out for the next week. I look forward to seeing how you guys attack this one!
