Rough day. Short on time and gear, mashup of Mon/Tue strength.
A. Max C&J to 205 continued max clean to 225, both numbers well off target.
B. OHS singles to 185.
Hurried and shorted warmup, shoulders a little angry. New day tomorrow.

Welcome, Ryan! Just a note on the programming…Unless it says otherwise, assume that all the sets in Part A are “working” sets so you should be going as heavy as possible for them. Use a few sets to warm up to where you want to start then once it gets heavy, start counting them. Great job on Part B!

Missed yesterday so we started with cleans. Went up to 295, missed 305 couldn’t commit to getting under it.

A. First 3 sets back rack jerk to front catch then jerk at 245. Last 2 sets at 265 back rack jerk.

B. 15:45 Rx (really regretted doing those cleans during the thrusters).

Just curious, what made you choose to do the jerks from BTN?

Split jerks are a big weakness for me. I can push press about the same as jerk. I’m better at splitting from btn. So a little practice while hitting fronts as well.

Eve all….Michelle, the wife did great up against mostly regionals athletes.

A- 5×8 seated db strict press 20kg each arm. (Not ready for dynamic heavy work yet)
Superset 10 press ups

B- instead of c2b did supine horizontal bb row (I actually find these harder than c2b)
Everything else as u wrote it and all unbroken

Time : 11:00 on the nose

A. Sandbag to shoulder and jerk… 2 x1 @ 123, 1 x 1 @ 153 (failed), 3 x 2 @ 123. Last was really tough. 153 is def in reach!

B. 12:53 with 75lb brute force athlete bag (3:54 on run). Recovered on the run. Should have pushed harder there. Thrusters were really tough. Was planning on 100lb bag but on rep 1, knew I needed to switch.

I wish I hit an actual wall instead of ‘the wall’ during the last round of burpees. It probably would have sucked less.

This might be a good investment: http://www.crossoversymmetry.com

If not, then you should consider hitting some other types of scapular strength work as well as stretching your pecs.

Cleans!! I’m working through the thrusters. The workouts with 135lb thrusters certainly make 115lb feel easier!
