I wish I had that problem with the contact with the hips…I actually make tooo much contact and bounce the bar…which pushes it out and away from the body. Nice work today Janelle!

Thanks Candy! I love the snatch and would love to take a class for it, to get really comfortable with the movement. There are so many things to think about when performing it.

She said one more so I wanted to make it count. Was super close on 195. Snuck in two more tries but just couldn’t get it… Read more »

Not too sore from yesterday but today is going to leave a mark for sure – “luckily” I was up playing kitchen with my sub-2 year old at 4:30 this morning so have been spared.

My legs are feeling it from squat Monday and squat clean Wednesday. I opted to rest prior to soccer tonight… I predicted BSS would result in the exact situation you are describing and this render me useless at soccer ?? Props for pushing through

Good call. I am so ridiculously sore and I didn’t even do squat Monday. I’ve noticed it’s the high rep, low weight workouts that kill me the most.

If this is painfully obvious to everyone else, forgive me. But is the prescription 50 wallballs x 3 EACH, or are the two partners chipping away at a combined 150 wallballs?

Rather than say thanks individually to all of you that gave me great feedback and information on keto, I am just posting here. I am very grateful for your input and though it may seem a small thing to post a comment, it reminds me what a great group this is and how nice it is to be online in a place that isn’t filled with negativity. One of the main reasons I was looking at keto was for my wife. She has severe fibromyalgia and is down a lot. Helping her increase her BMR would be something that would… Read more »

well, i’ve dabbled with double sessions sometimes during 2017, the load was super heavy and it hindered my performance a lot; but I’ve progressed back into it in these last few weeks, doing one or two double sessions per week little by little; now coming into the open prep cycle I decided to switch accessory work to 3 double sessions per week, in the mornings I do my regular wods and then on the evenings I do some accessory strength and/or gymnastics work.
