I went to a Pull Ups workshop today, we practiced a lot of technique for the kipping pull ups, did a measure of pull up strength and identified issues all over the place.
We finished with an eight minute tabata wod:
1. Kipping Pull Ups
2. Superman hold
3. American Swing (32 kgs)
4. Hollow hold
I got my first set of butterflies today, but I’ll move away from them until I develop more proper strength for the stricts

Yeah, it was a real bummer but they had been tender all week, the gave in after I went for a PR on kipping Pull Ups

I like that strict pull-up idea 🙂 BUT love that your fitness is being taken to the next level!! Congrats on those butterflies!!

Burpees got the best of us…38:15.
Did solo and cut reps in 1/2. Subbed WB’s for Thrusters at 45#. 45# plates for FC. Strict PU’s.

Went solo & cut everything in half. 28:40. Used a 16lb ball for WB, need to get a 20lb in future. Only had a 70lb & 45lb kettle bell for farmers carry, so alternated hands at turnaround point. No box, so jumped as high as possible, which wasn’t very high towards the end.
I used to do the same thing with the KB…but then I found on amazon that you can buy the KB handle and add your own weights….I think it was like $15…but wow…its much better and way easier on the wallet then buying all of the KB’s.
