Normally with arm bent but you can try it locked out overhead too.

That’s how I did it too, nice job on 40#. The 28# was a struggle and the 35# I tried it with kept rotating.

That darn ankle! I can’t remember if you said whether or not you’ve tried Voodoo Floss on it?

I’ve been targeting it every day with mobility but no voodoo floss. We have some at the gym down here. I’ll try it today!
Still only 2 weeks out from hurting the ankle, and it’s been slowly but steadily improving.

Worked up to 115lbs for snatch balance. First time ever doing this. Did some false grip work before heading home. Going to do a 10min AMRAP at home for conditioning

Thanks, Michele. Old PR is 175 but a more reasonable current training 1RM is 155. Decent first 2 pulls and OHS is solid. Missing speed (and confidence) getting under the bar…

Another option for Part A could have been Tall Cleans. They help force you to get under the bar fast. Awesome work!

A. Snatch balance is such a mental thing for me. 135# is all I can do. At that weight I want to turn it into a “push snatch balance” meaning I want to jump it up a bit vice just drop down.
B. 5 + 5
C. Ran out of time… Maybe later today.

Ah the snatch balance. Yes, keep it lighter until you can really start punching under then start to go up slightly from there. Great job!

When I first started with Invictus, I was doing the part A! I wanted to get into a pure strength program. Once I hit 6 cycles of Wendler, I will retest my 1RM and likely begin your program again. Do you have any insight to how you program your lifting?
