Welcome Coach Fritz to the Invictus Team!

Hey Invictus Community!

My name is Fritz. I am a new part-time coach at Invictus Downtown. I was born in Chicago, raised in Sedona, completed undergrad and grad school at the University of Redlands, and then moved to Champaign, Illinois. I started my coaching journey there working with the Illini track and field sprinters, hurdlers, multi-event, and field event athletes. I coached them technically on the track and I wrote the strength and conditioning for many of the Illini athletes as well. It was at U of I where I met my lovely wife, Jessica. She is a clinical lab scientist for Kaiser in San Diego. We frequent the zoo and love exploring this lovely city’s restaurants, breweries, and beaches.

I have been coaching for over ten years now and have expertise in sprinting and running technique, track and field events (I was a decathlete in college and afterward), Olympic Weightlifting, and Strongman training. I also coach a small team of female wildland firefighters. I love to compete and have played and coached a variety of sports. My greatest coaching asset is my well-tuned eye for quality movement and barbell technique, and I truly WANT to see you improve over time. I have a growing arsenal of short and actionable cues to help you make small improvements. I am a big believer in the power of the long game – that these small improvements add up and pay dividends to long-term gains and support you through your fitness journey. My goal for you is to learn to love movement so that you can stay healthy and pursue your own personal meaning well into the future. My simplified coaching philosophy:

  1. Movement is paramount
  2. Minimum effective dose
  3. Everyone’s path is unique

I am humbled to be a part of the Invictus Fitness Team and am thankful to work alongside some of the brightest, knowledgeable, and passionate coaches that I have ever met. I look forward to meeting you all and my goal is to earn your respect and trust, eventually leaving a positive impact on your life. When you have questions for me, please ask. I will be patient with you as we ALL learn and grow.

I really liked your topic about which you can think for a very long time. I assure you that it will be better for you if you can give this opportunity to use https://dissertation-helpers.co.uk/dissertation-plan/ and look at everything in more detail.
