Do you struggle with stability in the catch of your snatches and/or cleans? What you might not realize, is that when you have that issue arise, it can be due to your set up and start position. 

How, you ask?

You may have heard a coach tell you to “pinch your shoulders” when you lift the barbell off of the floor. But pushing your shoulder blades together behind you AND picking up a barbell is nearly impossible, even if we are a super mobile person. Try this instead: 

Put this into practice and make sure you aren’t mashed potatoes in the catch of a snatch or clean.
