Yesterday’s WOD with a twist of sweetness!

For Time 5000m of each

Ski Erg – 25:33
TM Run – 30:59 (6mph)
Row – 26:07
AB – 10:17

Total time: 98;09 (total work time 92:56)
***Did this last March without the ski erg in 66:57. Row and Run were about 2 min slower each today..but the AB was 5s faster. Haha..gotta find the positive in it! Super happy I stuck with it as there were many times I just wanted to quit.

I don’t know if I’d say you added “sweetness” to the workout, but props to you for working through all of that and adding in your new toy! How do you like the ski erg?

Thanx Mike! I really like the ski erg…it really is nothing like the other torture equipment. It is going to be work in progress…getting the most efficient stance, stroke..etc. I’m starting to get in my mind set that my journey is more about being health…not necessarily being the most jacked or always lifting more weight than the previous session. So having more options is always a good thing. Only 1 more thing on the absolute want list…air runner..but that’s a big hit to the wallet..and I’m not sure my son loves me that much 🤣.

I’m glad you like it! Air runners are cool. I’ve only used them a couple of times. It comes at a hefty cost though. My next purchase like that will be an echo bike.
