WHAT IS INVOLVED IN A PERSONAL COACHING CONSULT?
You will work directly with Melissa to determine your current fitness level, and your specific, measurable goals. She will develop a detailed coaching plan to get you on track to reach those goals. Your custom program will be ready for you when you arrive at Invictus for your weekend of Great Gains. You will leave Invictus with a clear vision of how to continue towards reaching your goals, and homework. Melissa will continue to follow up, making sure you stay on track.
One-on-one coaching consists of four training sessions over a three day period. You will receive individual private coaching, specific to your goals and needs. All of the sessions are one-on-one, specially developed for you to make large gains and rapid growth to your current athletic state. Following your consult, you will receive a detailed program that will include specific skill builders, drills, demonstration videos, structured warm ups, and points of performance (do’s and don’ts) that are tailored specifically towards your areas of greatest opportunity. This package also contains 5 follow up video critiques to help you continue to improve.
Melissa has worked with more than 25 coaches and athletes for over 7 years. Her unique ability to assist in identifying and achieving goals leaves her clients motivated and with a clear plan to reach what it is they are looking to do.
Invictus Master Coach, Melissa Hurley is a 4x CrossFit Games Team Competitor, including the 2014 Championship Invictus team. Melissa came to CrossFit in 2010 with 9 years of collegiate level coaching experience. Melissa’s education includes a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science and a Masters in Health Science and Physical Education.
She then pursued several CrossFit coaching certifications: Endurance (2011), Level 1 Coaching (2012), Coach’s Preparatory Course / Level 2 (2012), Level 3 Coaching (2017), CrossFit HQ Internship (2013), Row (2014), & Gymnastics (2014).
