16:15 Rx. Had me gasping–lots of little sets at the end. Fun end to the week.
Used to do the Competition work outs but went med down in May and had open inguinal hernia surgery in July so starting to get back in it. Amazing how fast you can lose it. Gonna do the Performance workouts until I’m back feeling normal.

Did power snatches in small chunks (4-5 reps) … changed up my 400m route slightly, which felt a little longer than usual. Oh well. Good hard workout.
Wow I use to be really really good at pull ups and now I’m really really not haha, it’s almost laughable. But I’ve come to the realization I can’t beat myself up! Did it RX at 29:43.
A uprisingly the runs were the best for me. Around I got 2 at around 2:30 and my last one was 1:53, I’m very happy about that. The bar was mentally tough to keep picking up but it felt smooth each time at least I still have my technique. Overall happy with this even with my slow as molasses time

Went with the Rx weight. Took me 22:54. Power clean and push press all through. I have a hard time stringing pull-ups. Hope to get a chance to try this one again. I need to really get better.
I’m sure you’ll have the chance to revisit this. Keep working those pull-ups even if it is in small clusters but get right back up on the bar.

24:45 RX That was fun! Broke most of the reps up into 5s, tried to do more, but just felt gassed and figured I’d just go with consistency over volume. It really had me breathing hard!
Afer reading some of the comments, I should’ve opted to do power snatches as well…. Didn’t think about it lol. Oh, well, next time I surely will!

*Stress has been super high and sleep really poor the past few days so I just kind of kept moving through this with no real intensity. Things are calming down so energy for next week should pick back up 🙂
Glad you took this slow. It’s important to make sure you’re feeling relaxed 🙂 No need to stress during a workout if you already feel some outside stressors. Hope things get better really soon!

Hi! Any suggestions on how to scale those Pull-Ups?
Hey Miru! You can use a small band or add some jumping pull ups. If neither of these are good for you, replace with ring rows to build up those shoulders
