About the Invictus Endurance Club

Are you tired of running by yourself or want to shave some time off your next 5k race? Join Coach Nuno every Wednesday night at 6:45 p.m. at San Diego High School Track for an hour of running fun! Your Invictus Endurance membership ($39/month) also includes two additional running workouts each week, that you complete on your own, geared towards preparing you for upcoming races and events.

Invictus Endurance has a team of coaches who specialize in coaching endurance athletes. Implementing methods from CrossFit Endurance, our program is geared toward improving performance, fitness and endurance sports potential. It is unlike traditional long, slow distance training in that we eliminate unnecessary volume (junk miles) and increase the intensity of the training sessions.

Long duration training necessitates low intensity, and it results in athletes who are less powerful, less lean and more prone to injury. Many also suffer from low energy and abbreviated longevity in their sport. We will make you faster. We will make you leaner. We will increase your power.

Power and speed are critical components to success in the endurance world. With careful planning, our strength and conditioning plan increases these two mainstays of performance while decreasing recovery time, reducing injury, promoting preservation of lean tissue and creating a more sustainable performance curve. Invictus Endurance builds your power and strength while making you faster and more efficient for your endurance sports.

If you are tired of your same old running routine, don’t have time for 8-hour workouts, or are interested in adding a strength and conditioning program to your running regimen, Invictus Endurance is for you. The programming is structured, sport-specific, and integrated with CrossFit principles like Olympic lifts, powerlifting, gymnastic movements, explosive activity, and mobility-based support.

What We Offer

Group Running Classes
We offer a weekly Running Class that is open to all Invictus members and non-members on Wednesdays @ 6:45 p.m. @ San Diego High School track. The class focuses on proper running technique along with a running workout designed to develop and maximize our athlete’s endurance and anaerobic threshold.

Private Endurance Coaching
Private Endurance Coaching is an amazingly effective complement to your sport-specific training program. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your athletic goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, all with an eye toward improving your sport-specific skills.

Small Group Endurance Classes
Small-group coaching is the perfect solution for the person looking for the benefits of one-on-one coaching and the social interaction of team training. Ideal for groups of 2 to 5 individuals of similar fitness capacities or with similar fitness goals, your small-group endurance workouts will be tailored to address specific needs and goals of the group and/or individuals within the group. If you have a few friends or family members you’d like to train with, this is the option for you.
