Rest up buddy! Get that body healthy and ready to attack. Maybe try doing fitness for a while and stay away from dynamic movements and percentage based loading while your injuries heal. Let us know how we can help.

I am a physiotherapist so I can handle with my injuries. It’s just a matter of time 🙂 I feel how my body lets, within reasonable limits

Good idea, how about I test that theory today? Hoping I’ll have a little more pop after not doing 43 burpees first:)

Nice job. Solid numbers. Why did you stop, was 245 a little challenging? What are your thoughts looking back at that moment?

No I just didn’t feel like going further. I maybe had 265 in the tank. Just a sluggish day with not much motivation.

A) 3mins bar facing burpees: 39
B) 12mins to find clean and jerk max: 225. Not a PR. Tried 235 but couldn’t get under the jerk. Tried it again and couldn’t get under the clean.

Oly gets significantly tougher after burpees. What happened on the jerk, legs just a bit too tired to get under?

I felt like I couldn’t catch my breath after the clean. Probably just general muscular fatigue.

I’m trying to stay away from too many heavy clean days so I can work on my technique, so I rearranged things a bit today.
a) E2MOM, Clean, Hang Squat Clean, FS @ 185. 5 Rounds
b) Jeremy – 21/15/9 OHS @ 95, and burpees – 5:22

Good luck to everyone tackling event 1.

37 burpees, up to 200(5# pr). Been sick all well so I’ve barely done any training. Had no gas on the burpees but apparently “fresh” legs and my toddlers cold medicine is the secret PR maker. You heard it here first…
