Been off the programme for a bit as been in Armenia for work. What an amazing place! Anyway, work and life a bit manic so not doing as much training as I would like but this was a nice one to kick start me again. A) really don’t like jerk as I tend to hyper extend my back and having a weak core and bad lower back I shy away from jerk. Nice job easing in to the jerk. How is your thoracic mobility? Do you have super tight hip flexors or inactive glutes? Those are typically some signs as to why you may be hyper extending in the lumbar spine.
Thanks 🙂 I’ve been told I have inactive glutes yes….lazy ass! Hip flexors ok I think, I try and do couch stretch a lot. Not overly sure how my thoracic mobility is though……

Used 35# dumbells vs 75# bar due to shld feeling eh, but i think the dumbells ,while better on my shld due to a neutral grip, we’re harder to get up!
