Right around 6:30 every round. Slow running after crushing legs yesterday! Pull-ups were also slow (like always lol). Really good workout for what I need to work.

This workout was painful!

4:45, 4:45, 5:10, 5:10, 5:02 = 24:52

Gotta get my running back, the strict pull ups and strict handstand Pushups were easy though

Good news on the gymnastics! That’s where most people struggle.

Just started following the Invictus Programming. So far I absolutely love the challenge. Todays WOD was a great mix. 800m run on the Curve, C2B, and 50 Lbs L-Seated presses.

RX. 4:02 + 4:00 + 4:11 + 4:09 + 4:08 = 20:30. Got 20-30s extra rest between rounds 1 and 2 because my clock malfunctioned and I had to reset it. All CTB and SHSPU UB.

What would be a good equivalent to an 800 run on the airdyne. It’s a monsoon where I live and would like to hit a similar stimulus?

50 cals

On the airdyne? 60-80 calories depending on the person. 40-50 on the assault bike.

I am pretty sure I would rather run in the monsoon vice 50 cals on the airdyne!!!

Michelle,
What would be more beneficial, to scale the HSPU to kipping or stick to strict and add abmats as needed?

L-seated DB presses or HSPU negatives. No abmats!

One day behind so did squats today.

A. 205#, 235#, 260#, 275#, 285#

295#, 300#
Chased each set with 10 pushups

B. 4:58 for 3 sets (only able to do double unders every 5 singles)

Next time a load of double-unders comes up in a workout, try cutting the reps each round or give yourself a certain amount of time to complete them each round so you get some rest (which is the intent of the workout). Let me know if you need other suggestions. Great job!

Okay, thanks! FYI, I did get plenty of rest because I worked for about 1:30 in each 4 minute block.
