A1) FS, 160#X5, 180#X3, 200#X3 (post op PR) Did this first before doing my C&J work because I set a rule after surgery I can’t attempt a clean if I haven’t front squatted it (duh).

A2) got to 185# PR, missed 190, noticed i am not finishing my second pull/ having a early arm bend

B) decided to do technique work instead so
C&J, 30 reps at 115# not for time
focused on finishing second pull the “fast elbows”

A. So pumped! Worked up to 255 lb on clean & jerk for a 10lb PR! Hit 265 lb on clean for a 20 lb PR! Form is huge and I feel my form was a huge step up from last time we did cleans! Also not being afraid of the weight helps!

B. Rx 11:54 135lb broke it up 10 clean & press/10 snatches/10 clean & jerk

A: 80 kg (176 lbs) Not my best but I have a little pain in the lower back so I feel insecure to rise the weight…

B: 17:42 start As Rx, 10 C&P, 10 snatch, 10 C&J

but in the halfway need to down the weight so I can finish the wod, my back still hurts a little and I don’t want to risk, despite at all very good felings!!

Super happy with today! Neck is really bumming me out,(disc problems) hard to get motivated. No overhead anything for a while, cleans felt like a good sub. Old PC max is 265. Keep your head up

It can be really frustrating to battle injury. You are doing a great job of finding things you can do though! Do you have a list of ideas going? I can help if you want. Just let me know!

Maybe too big a jump from 170 to 185. Try going up in smaller increments next time and see if you can’t get that 185.

Sounds like your footwork might be off on the split. Try warming up with some Jerk Balance and Tall Jerks for a while. Do you know how to measure your foot position? Check out this article:

A. Worked up to #225. That is a PR. I have PC #235 and jerked #245 but never put them together. Usually lose my pinky and ring finger on the clean and suck at getting adjusted to do the jerk. Made it work today.
B. As Rx: 11:38…did the G2OH as C&J 10/5 singles/then 2-3 until complete.
….finished with lower body mobility/stretching and 3×20 GHD situps at tempo

My biggest issue is that I’m not doing a weekly meal plan, and I’m constantly on the go so a lot of times I opt for the quick and easy instead of the healthy because I can’t find the time to cook a meal during the week.
