okay, so I’m about a week late. I have been wanting to do Cindy again but schedule has been uber crazy lately so no time to workout.

31 rounds + 2 (932) – plus a big sweaty mess

compare to 23 + 20 (710) on 10/7/16 – great to see improvement! (used rings for pullups both times – no bar at home)

legs were absolutely on fire after running all those sprints yesterday at wrestling practice.

Did this in my hallway with a pull up bar attached to the doorway. Did this with strict pull-ups, got 13 rounds on this snowy day!

21 rounds 🙂 I was super happy with this. I need to find my previews. I think it was 18.

I did 30 mins of running and rowing. Nothing crazy.

Intended to set up my new rogue ring mount for my garage, but it didn’t come with bolts :(. I haven’t ever been able to work ring mu’s since I didn’t have the space. So I’m saying it here and now. Goal is for ring mu’s in January!

B: ONLY 9 RX rounds. Push-Ups killed me. When I see your results (~20 rounds), I see that it is so much to work and the way to that is long. 🙂

There are a lotta absolute monster performers here on this board, but if you constantly compare yourself to them you’ll miss out on any progress you’ll have made for yourself, which is, after all, the purpose of all of this. Hang in there, keep pushing yourself and use others’ results as a reminder of what’s possible to strive for.

“Cindy” – 25 + 5 as Rx (PR)
… first time doing butterfly pull-ups this year (physio homework is definately paying off) … went mixed grip but was able to go unbroken … and shoulder feels fine … last time I did Cindy was 24 rounds back in August 8, 2010 – pays to journal.

Really solid score!
Just be careful with mix grip… it can definitely cause some symmetry/ mechanical issues down the road if used too excessively.
So fantastic to hear that you’ve been keeping up on your homework. Many people can often overlook the small tools they are given to manage their pain. It is so important for consistent progress. Great work!

I agree – was just happy to be able to cycle pullups as it’s been a long time … progress but still a ways to go. Thanks for the coaching and encouragement.

Glad to hear the progression of good to better reports about your shoulder, Chris. Thanks again for those exercises; I credit them for my CL&J PR the other day. The increase in mobility and stability is noticeable.

Day late so here’s yesterday’s
A. Deads: 165×6, 195×6, 215×6, 215×5. Mistook 2 25lb plates for 15s so totally failed at 245 (was trying to hit 225×5)! When I went back at 225, I had zero left.
Shoulder press: no DBs so used a bar. 95×6, 115×5, 125×5 (PR). So stopped here :).
B. 11:55 Rx. DUs and strict HSPUs took a bit longer than I thought.

A) Did a good pistols progression, they are coming but my right leg still needs a bit more strength.

B) Did Jumping C2B instead of pull ups. 12 + 8

I’m curious to see if its actually your strength lacking on your right side vs a mobility issue of some sort. Typically people have symmetry issues like mobility and stability that can be misconceived as a strength discrepencey. Always feel free to post videos when you have questions about any movements! I can give some feedback if there are videos 🙂

I’ve been thinking a lot on this today, I think that it is indeed an imbalance on my ankle flexibility. I’ve been working this last week on improving my mobility and flexibility but I still have ways to go in this area.
