Try to stay low on those burps over the bar and think more about gliding rather than jumping. That analogy may be a bit more beneficial for you. =)

Awesome job Jared! On the high pull portion of the clean try pulling yourself down a little faster rather than pulling the bar higher. Be aggressive. You are gonna clean 235 very soon.

Hit that 3rd squat clean on round two….and it was all downhill from there. Nice job!

Remember guys, smooth is fast. With a movement like squat cleans, you always want to be a little conservative as it is a power based movement that we are making you repeat for reps. File this experience away and just remember for next time. Awesome work!

Thanks bro, been stuck at 305 for awhile. It’s a very inconsistent weight for me. Some days it feels easy and like today super heavy.

Keep working on that front squat and consistency with loads around 275-290 and you will be surprised to see 305 become 315 in no time.

I will Bryce, I hit 405 on my front squat a few times now so I know it’s definitely my tech niche that needs work.

I am super impressed and you are a great example of working out while pregnant, and listening to your body. I mean holy moly…I’m reviewing people on here who are around my skill level, and I see 37 weeks pregnant! Then I’m all “I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy!” LOL! I remember being pregnant over 13 years ago and that’s when my powerlifting career ended. My OB stated something like a 20# lifting restriction (or something stupid like that) I asked…”so, I can deadlift 330#, does that 20# still apply to me?” The answer was “Yes” 🙁 Anyhow…Congrats on your… Read more »

Thanks Amber! I appreciate your support and well wishes. I have definitely just been listening to my body, and surprisingly I’m still able to do most things. This is my third baby, so I feel pretty comfortable in being a good judge of what I can and can’t do. 🙂 I look forward to following you and keeping up with your progress as well! 🙂
