A. Bryan (E3MOM) – 130#, 140#, 150#, 165#, 175# (f). Christy – 75#, 80#, 85#, 95#, 100# (f).
B. Bryan – 4:57 (3 sets). Christy (75# vs. 95#) – 6:44 (4 sets).

Did this yesterday

A. Up to 225 which I failed 2 times before getting firmly overhead (focusing on foot quickness helped) PR !

B. 4:48 Rx. I think I lost a rep or two on round 1…

Pro Tip: don’t drink a couple beers followed by cake and ice cream before a workout.

Also would be remiss not to share that I’ve missed about a week due to the birth of 3rd son last week.

A. worked up to 115, failed 125, went back to 120 then hit 125. It’s my 1RM so no PR but at least a match.

B. 6:14 – 9, 8, 9, 4 RX.

Ran 1 mile in 7:12. Felt hard but doable. 🙂 Working my way back to being a fast runner.

Pretty sure it took me 6:00 to do Grace last time I tried. Lol. Huzzah for getting better.

Turkish get ups are a whole other battle! Jerks are at least straight up then dump it!

A. Clean and Jerk
115lb single arm
Had trouble w/where my hand catching the clean. Felt fine to catch the clean but my wrist would be at an ocquard position to Jerk. Gotta figure that out.

B. 12 min @95lb
Same problem with the Jerk as in A. Last two rounds got it figured out though. Need to catch the bar on an angle. Sun was finally out here so took the barbell to the back yard. That makes it worth it.

Thanks, but props to you. I tried Turkish getups one handed after seeing them done that way with a barbell… I quickly realized how bad my balance and wrist stability were.

After last set 1 min rest vs 3 and max an mat in 1 min 48- way slower than I expected running kills your core

B. 14/16 Rx. Mixed power snatches and power cleans.

Do not remember when squat clean previosly.

B. 8:14, I tried to use good technique in every rep and don’t pay much attention to the timer, but after seeing your times… I was definitely too slow!

A day behind, so I did yesterday’s workout:

Round 1: 70 push-ups — 1’03” left on the clock
Round 2: 64 push-ups — 1’03”
Round 3: 57 push-ups — 58″
Round 4: 56 push-ups — 1’04”

Time to ice the knee for an hour!

Didn’t get the jerk at 125# and don’t think it would have counted at 120# as my RIGHT arm didn’t immediately lock out…kinda pushed the bar up slowly.

B 11/10/9 = 4:50
C. Cool down – Push mowing my acre lot!

I did Fitness today because I overdid it with push jerks yesterday and my knee is sore.

Part A.
Single-Leg Box Step-Ups x 8 each leg @ 3111 (26# kbs – left leg wobbly)
Single-Arm Shoulder Press x 10 each arm (33# barbell in one hand – this was interesting/challenging)
V-ups x 20

Part B.
5 sets:
60 seconds man-makers w/ 30# DBs (9, 10, 9, 9, 10)
60 seconds rest

This seems amazing, unfortunately I wont be able to do it today, but tomorrow for sure;

My official Grace time is 06:25 (tried it about a month ago), it’ll be interesting to see how it goes with this scheme
