The Difference A Year Makes – Recap of 15.3 Re-Test
Written by Hunter Britt
Last week we gave everyone a chance to tackle event 15.3 from last year’s CrossFit Games Open. This is an event we think is likely to come back in 2016, so we were extremely excited to see countless PR’s coming in. Here is a short list of some of the impressive improvements that we saw come in through the blog comments…all reflective of the athletes’ hard work and consistency in the gym!

Josh broke into the 500’s for reps and Steven managed to complete 3+ rounds and finish with an improvement of 106 reps.
There were also some huge PR’s from our in-house Invictus Athletes. A large portion of those PR’s were due to the improvement on the muscle up portion of the workout, thanks to the gymnastics training provided by our very own gymnastics coach, Travis Ewart. Here are the improvements seen:

- Maddy Myers +103 reps (577)

Huge shout out to Nuno Costa, who is a 7x Games athlete as a member of our team, will be competing in his 8th season of CrossFit and continues to crush massive PRs. He is the model of consistency and smart training. He leads by example and is as inspiring as any athlete we’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Best of luck to everyone as we continue to near the Open and enjoy the time you have in the gym. We are very excited to watch your progress so keep us updated on how you are doing by posting daily on the blog!
Thanks to you for these progress ! 🙂
