We are excited to be back at Semifinals this year and with so many amazing people representing Invictus from Teams, to Individual Athletes, to the Sea of Green, and the awesome crew manning our merch and info booth! If you are in Pasadena this weekend, come find us in the stands or in vendor village. We are excited to bring the Sea of Green back to cheer on our athletes and would love to have you join us!
Here’s who we will be rooting on…
Team Invictus – Joshua Al-chamaa, Brittany Weiss, Devyn Kim, and Jorge Fernandez – are reunited after their 3rd place finish at the 2022 CrossFit Games and are ready and rearing to show the world how much they’ve improved over the past year.
Team Invictus Unconquerable – Tyler Soderback, Emily Rethwill, Jessi Smith, and Eric Carmody – might be new to this team, but none are new to competition. Eric is a multiple-time Games athlete and he and Tyler competed together on a WZA team. Emily and Jessi have both competed as individuals, most recently at WZA.
Team Sea of Green – Lauren Stallwood, Lalo Torres, Sean Nearly, and Kelsey Schulte – is comprised of Invictus coaches and Competition Class members who are no strangers to the competitive stage. Besides amazing showing at Friday Night Lights during the Open as well as Team Quarterfinals from each of them (to earn their spots on this team), Lauren competed on an Elite WZA team this year.
Representing Invictus Individual Athletes are three people who are Games Veterans – Jenn Ryan (the amazing 2023 Games Bound Masters athlete who also qualified for Semis as an Individual), along with super strong fan favorites, Chandler Smith and Dani Speegle. Allie Weiss is making her first individual appearance this season after competing on an Elite WZA team earlier this year followed by absolutely crushing Individual Quarterfinals.
Invictus will have a vendor booth at the North America East & West Semifinals! Come and see us, spend $50, and get a free pair of socks! The deal is valid at our event booths only. Scope our merch beforehand!
