Get Outside with Friends and Family
Written by C.J. Martin

Every family has different holiday traditions. Don’t be afraid to start one around health and fitness. Starting a holiday with a hike, run, swim, etc…is a great way to bond together – and also makes folks feel better about eating their special holiday treats. I’ll be spending my Easter sunday with a huge group of folks enjoying some fresh air, steep terrain and beautiful San Diego weather. Let us know how you plan to enjoy your active rest Sunday.

And a huge thank you for the great week of training to superstars Noah Pester, Ashleigh Moe and Jenny LaBaw – pictured above with me and the best Belgian intern in the world – Thijs Moonen. Ashleigh was resting a tweaked ankle, but she didn’t let a silly boot stop her from reaching the summit of the nice little hill behind us. Pretty impressive . . . but we wouldn’t have expected anything less from her.

Managed to get my family and inlaws to do some trekking at a local bouldering/climbing spot. I even got some climbing in. Great time.

Active rest day with a moderate 3 mile loop through Florida Canyon and along Morley Field and back home along the golf course. Almost got nailed by an errant tee drive (or maybe it was on purpose?)

Have a great weekend everyone.
