Mind-Muscle Connection: CARs & Compensation
Video by Nick Hawkes & TJ O’Brien

Coaches Nick Hawkes and TJ O’Brien talk about Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) and how people tend to compensate for lack of mobility or awareness.

Mobility is the key to being pain-free and is the foundation for speed, power and strength. We need to be able to move our joints in their full ROM in order to get the most out of them. That’s where Controlled Articular Rotations, or CARs, come in – to assess joint health (particularly the function of the deep joint capsule), maintain outer ranges of motion, and rehabilitate through anti-inflammatory movement.

Our Popular Mind-Muscle Class is Now Available to You Online!

Being in pain is no way to live, so we’ve been incorporating our three, favorite joint health modalities – ELDOA, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and Kinstretch – into our Mind-Muscle Class and have seen great success in joint range of motion, functionality, and reduction of pain with those members who have taken part.

Because of the success we’ve had with the class and knowing you have some extra time on your hands right now…we are now offering it to you for FREE for your quarantine routine.

The mind-muscle connection is a phenomenon that occurs when a muscle or group of muscles is activated without any external force. The feeling of the muscle contracting is not accompanied by any visual, auditory, or tactile cues. This phenomenon may occur because the brain sends messages to the muscles, which then contract. The phenomenon occurs in many activities, such as lifting, running, jumping, and cycling. I would like to read https://veepn.com/blog/how-to-subscribe-to-netflix-with-vpn/ article which is really helpful for me.
