Announcing . . . Yoga with Heidi!

It brings me great pleasure to announce that we are adding yet another program to move us closer to our goal of offering you the most comprehensive health and fitness coaching possible.

Many of you have met and worked with our very own Heidi Fearon. I refer to Heidi simply as our “healer.” Heidi is one of the most valued members of our Invictus team. She is integral to helping maintain the health and fitness of our entire staff (and all of our competitive athletes, including many out-of-state athletes) through acupuncture, massage, meditation . . . you name it. She is simply amazing! In addition to the many other healing domains that she is well-versed in, Heidi is also an incredible yoga instructor. She has been a certified yoga teacher practicing and teaching for 15 years. She is also trained in postural assessment and alignment.

In addition to being really freaking smart and well educated, Heidi is also an Invictus member. She does the same workouts that the rest of you do . . . and that means she has a unique insight as to what muscles need to be relaxed, stretched and worked on to allow you to perform and feel your best.

Come join us for an hour and 15 minutes of bending, breathing and relaxation. You can’t afford to miss this critical balance to your training routine. It’s not going to be all easy, but it will be fun.

The yoga group sessions will focus on the perfect blend of movement and relaxation to enhance both flexibility and stability to ultimately maximize your performance in life. Much of class will be dedicated to hip opening, shoulder stabilization, ankle flexibility, torso rotation and balance, heck we’ll even get you to enjoy standing on your head.

Sessions will close with 10-15 minutes of visualization/relaxation – a perfect way to hit the reset button in preparation for the start of a new week. Come get your yoga on.

All levels are welcome and if you have a yoga block, strap, blanket or towel make sure to bring it along. This is a perfect addition to your Look Good, Feel Good goals, preparing for the Open or just to establish some balance in a busy routine.

COST: $10 for 75-minute session

(After this initial session, Yoga with Heidi will run twice a month. Those dates will be calendared and announced to all interested members.)
