Kim has been part of the Invictus family since 2009. She started CrossFit as a way to supplement training for triathlons and Women’s Premier League Rugby. After earning her Masters degree in Sports Psychology in 2012, she left corporate America and became a full-time Invictus employee. She competed with the 2013 Invictus Sea of Green team at Regionals and was an alternate for that team in 2014. During that time, Kim transitioned her role at Invictus to that of a coach. She now not only coaches, but also manages Downtown Invictus. Kim’s favorite part of coaching is working with clients of all levels to help identify mental struggles that might be preventing them from reaching their physical goals regardless of whether those goals are body composition, nutrition, or performance based. Kim holds a number of CrossFit certifications and loves continuing education in the fitness world.
