Karen began her professional career with Costco and is now retired after 25 years in management with the company. If you know Karen, then you know that she will never actually retire – upon “retirement” she quickly jumped in to help with Invictus retail, more than tripling the department’s revenue in her first year on staff. Besides her role in the retail department, she’s been Invictus Team Mom since CrossFit Games 2009 and continues to travel with Invictus Athlete to competitions around the world, providing food and other services to the athletes while they are on the road so that they may focus on competing. This is a natural role for her after years of supporting CJ’s (her son) athletic teams from the time he was a young child through his college baseball career. Karen also helped develop the Weight Management Program with a couple other friends and members in 2009 and that is a program that she still supports today. It is her love being a part of this amazing community of people that keep her going.
