Got Paleo?
Written by C.J. Martin
What are you doing on September 19th? Well, here’s what you should be doing if you don’t have plans. Paleo Brands is providing an amazing opportunity to listen to experts Robb Wolf, John Welbourn and Loren Cordain discuss the science and concepts underlying the Paleo Diet.
As you all know, we are strong advocates of the Paleo Diet, and while you often have to put up with our requests that you give up your precious cereal grains, perhaps hearing it from the mouths of those doing the research would give you that final bit of motivation to make the change. If you’re looking for more information about the benefits of the Paleo Diet, I strongly suggest you join your coaches on Saturday, September 19 at the Paleo Brands Seminar. It is sure to be educational and inspirational for those of you looking to switch to or maintain your Paleo nutrition plan.
Please register on the Paleo Brands website, and let us know if you have any questions.

Did I miss this info on the flyer? Does anyone know what time it starts and ends? Thanks.
Elle, if I remember right it’s 10AM – 4PM with lunch provided (Paleo of course!). I’m sure there are more details on their website.
Brutal wod today that combined my favorite (DL) with my one of many nemeses (double unders or sub. burpee+tuck-jump). DLs were quite solid and I kept good even pace, but simply ran out of gas on each round of DUs or Bastards. Stayed on a 3-min/rd cycle but really had nothing left after 15 mins.
Sled dragging was fun.
Quick word on Sage’s seminar: if you have not signed up, you really should do so if you want to learn by doing and you are interested in immediate feedback on the many steps that make up the Olympic lifts. Sage spots the problems very fast and gives you quick useful advice that you can put to work right away. Better to start working with her now, while you are using PVC or light weights and get the movement fundamentals down. Corinne, Jessica and Ben all did quite well and were fun to train with. We even talked about church, kind of. Sage has the goods and she will give them to you if you make that effort. I hope to run through another seminar in 4-6 months and see how things have progressed. Hope to see you there. Thank you, Sage.
Due to home inspections, couldn’t make it to the gym…but did a step child of Fight Gone Bad in my back yard tonight:
3 rounds:
500m row
10 PP @ 65lbs
10 box jumps
10 R/L TGUs with 1 pood KB
10 20lb slamball
1 minute rest b/t rounds
WILL be at the gym tomorrow to get my butt kicked in class.
