Celebrating the Life of Steve Jobs
Written by C.J. Martin

Why remember Steve Jobs on a fitness website? Quite simply, the man changed the world and how almost any business owner views it. He had the audacity to defy convention and the conviction to do whatever it took to succeed. He will be forever remembered as one of a short list of innovators that changed the world for many generations.

If you have 15 minutes, please watch the following video – his 2005 Stanford University commencement speech, you will not regret having invested the time to celebrate and remember Steve Jobs, his perspective, and his impact.

  1. Steve Jobs changed my life 3 years ago when I watched this video. I will thank him for the rest of my life. He is one of the reasons I started CrossFit Antwerpen. If you have time watch this video.

  2. Thank you for posting this video! What an incredible man with such sage advice. Everyone should take a moment to watch this video and evaluate how they are living and for what they are living for. I am truly blessed to have not only found what I am passionate about but to actually be living my life in accord with my passion.
Steve Jobs, you revolutionized so much more than the technological world. Your presence will be profoundly missed.

  3. Awesome speech! My favorite part of his message: DON’T SETTLE.

  4. Steve Jobs has left a huge impact on society at large. From the first Apple commercial back in 1984 to the present, it was always about thinking outside the norm. I love his way of making all the Apple products so beautiful even down to the packaging. His concept of “think different” is an ode to his making a difference in just about all aspects of modern day living. Sorely missed.
