A.1: @tempo: 4x 25# then 4×35 for 3 sets A.2: 6 per leg: 20# then 16kg for 3 sets (this felt good, PR I think) B.1: 5 rounds + 8 reps Started breaking the T2B 5-5 from the 3rd round B.2: 5 rounds + 18 reps (modified) Only realized when this was done that my mountain climbers weren’t done properly. I was alternating legs stepping up underneath my plank position instead of bringing each leg up and back down… this made it more leg movement then core. I’ll know for next time. Wife joined me tonight and did fitness. She’s… Read more »

… V-Ups are pretty unforgiving for a guy with tight hamstrings (just sayin’) … have a good weekend folks.
I thought v-ups were pretty unforgiving for a guy that just did a bunch of T2B. Way harder than I thought it would be.
Today I worked around the Hang Power Clean, trying to move some weight around A) OT2M x 4: HPC x 3, in kgs: 50, 60, 70, 80 Everything unbroken except the last rep, lost my grip after the second rep so I had to reset and do the last one. B) OT3M x 5: – 5 HPC – 10 jumping squats – 100 mts run Increased weight each round, in kgs: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80. Everything unbroken except last set of HPC, I did 3/1/1. C) OT3M x 3: – 15 hip thrusts with 40 kgs barbell – 1′… Read more »
Great job on the HPC
thanks man, I just wanted a day to feel strong moving the bar
Nice volume. ..great work Jorge!
Like most gymnasty stuff, this was a struggle. Hands are torn, so that slowed down T2B.
A. No weight but at tempo// unweighted pistols (first time ever doing pistols with both legs!)
B. 4 rounds + 5 // 4 rounds … Not moving too fast with these, pretty beat up.
Congrats on the pistols, I got there a few months ago… it was all mental for me, just committing to the drop. Take it as a win in the gymnastics category and enjoy the weekend!
Slow and Groggy after late night soccer. Weighted pistols were a no go and still no dip belt for weighted pull-ups.
A. 10 strict pull-ups, 1min hip mobility x 6 sets
B1. 5rds
B2. 6+6
C. Plank Tabata, more mobility.
you do realise that your slow and groggy is still +5 rounds of B
Thanks, definitely a zombie today
I do not have a dip belt either. I use my normal weight lifting belt and thread a carabiner connected to a chain link about two foot long through the buckle, then through the middle of some plates, then back again.
Haha…I use a band…I step through the band to go around my waist then put the band through the middle of plates and then put over my head around my neck. Whatever works and gets the job done.
Smart, I’m a big fan of multi-use equipment. Unfortunately I don’t own a lifting belt either. Soon enough I’ll have a dip belt.
Good morning!
A. Benchpress as described up to 2×105 kg (not sure but that could be a 2RM PR)
