12:40 Rx. Humbling WOD. Generally have a decent motor, but just couldn’t find the gas pedal on this one. If I had to pick my 2 least favorite movements, would probably be row repeats and thrusters. Put them together and I’m in trouble. Much respect for all the great times throughout the comments.
Finally got this out of the way and finished the 2015 Open season!
11:54 Rx
Hey Coach Michele! We follow your performance agenda. I started on sep2014! Fortunately I can complete the open. 15.5 was really hard! 10:30 Rx’D. I can done all the wod’s Rx’D despite of some movements were unknown for myself (MU, HSPU). Thanks to the invictus schedule and plan i could face the open successfully. Many thanks!
9:22 RX
12:34 rx’d.
Nice work, Trine! How was FNL?
Thanks! FNL was great. Everybody did so good and a lot of cheering from members. It was awesome:)
13:17
All right, Paige! You’re crushing it lately!
10:55 Rx broke it up 12/8/7, 9/7/5, 8/7, 9 i think i went a little to fast on the thrusters requiring more rest when i dropped the bar but i got a great workout so i’m happy with it
Nice work!!! that is a great time. seems like a pretty good way to break it up
Nice job, B!
15.5 – 10:28 Rx
I was SLOW on the row, and then broke up the thrusters at (12,9,6)+(12,9)+(9,6)+9
BOOM! Maybe slow on the row but you seemed to pick it up on the thrusters!
Your strategy seemed to work well. Great job!
Managed a quick variation of yesterday’s wod:
5 rds of 12 c2b pull-ups and hspu negatives (thanks Michelle)
13:12-broke all of both into 3 sets of 4, shoulders smoked after those negatives!
That’s the feeling of getting stronger. 🙂
8:59 Rx broke it up 11/9/7, 9/7/5, 5/5/5, 6/3 (arms died). Started following the Performance Blog a few weeks ago and love it! (Follow a week behind for scheduling purposes). Thanks for the programming!!
Glad to have you! Keep posting your results and any questions or comments you may have! Welcome.
Wow, amazing time Greg! Nice work. that that is a smokin time.
9:37 Rx. My favorite workout of the Open this year.
Had mandatory PT early in the day because of suicide prevention briefings and what not so I did pause squats with banded KBs to work on that sticking point. 5 reps with 5 sec pause at the bottom. 125/155/175/195. Then 10×205 with no pause just because. The banded KBs made this super spicy.
That sounds fun! Great job on 15.5 as well!
12:34, awesome work out legs were on fire. Been following your guys blog for 6 months first time posting. Thank for the great work outs to follow.
Thanks for finally posting! Welcome, Nolan! Please ask any questions or add any comments to other’s posts. This is going to be great!
13:16. Happy with this since I missed last week with lower back injury and this week with travel for work. Don’t know splits for row, thrusters were broken up in a good sequence.
Awesome! Welcome back!
Thanks!
10:31 RX. Thrusters 15/12, 11/10, 9/6, 9. Damper 7. Quads were on fire!
Nice work, Jon!
13:30 RX I feel like I blacked out somewhere in there so I really have no idea what my row or thruster splits were. Coming off a week vacation and I can’t breathe, but I’ll take it.
Felt good to be back.
Awesome! Sounds like you were deep in your pain cave!
Pain feeds me. It’s just one emotion/feeling.
I was wondering where you’ve been. Great welcome back workout! 🙂
12:56 Rx – Had a nice pace on the row. Broke up thrusters into 7/7/7/6 – 7/7/7 – 5/5/5 – 9 – Brutal workout!
Nice work Greg!!! Seems like a great way to break the thrusters up!
Great job, Greg!
One day behind. Scaled yesterday’s workout to:
Every 8 minutes, for 40
minutes (5 sets) of:
Spin bike 3:30
8 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
8 Strict Handstand Push-Ups
4:28 + 4:19 + 4:20 + 4:18 + 4:16 = 21:42
Nice!
14:02. Rx. Man this was a tough one but the first open workout I was able to do Rx so that was exciting!
Awesome work Brian. That is great you were able to do it RX!!!!
Woo hoo!
Hey guys! What a brutal wod! Eash! 11:12. Broke the thrusters up to even sets (9-9-9, 7-7-7, etc.). Went unbroken on the row! haha Weird that the competition wod isn’t updated and without a warm-up like the last few weeks! Hope everything is ok! See you guys on the other side!
Looks like it’s all good now! Great job on going unbroken for the row! 😉
