Alternating rounds with a partner.
***My partner is fairy new to CrossFit so to slow me down and give him equal rest I wore a #20 vest.

Scaled the PP to 10 reps because after 18.5, I did a partner WOD with mu husband that included 80 pull ups and 100 push ups. My lats were toast.
I also changed it to every 7 min because I was short on time.
3:30, 3:25, 3:33, 3:25, 3:25.
All DU Unbroken and done in 26 sec. I was pleased with the consistency.

And the result from the open are in. 5th in AK in my age group. 24th in AK overall and then 240 in my age group in the West Coast division. Pretty happy with this. ?comment image

On the road again. San Antonio hotel gym so no DUs for me. I did DB lunges in place of jump rope. 40lb DBs for lunges, push press and squats. Just one man’s opinion but I would rather have a barbell for this any day of the week. Stabilization and grip are much harder with DBs. 5:10 to get my bearings 4:31 4:29 4:45 5:08 That got serious in round 4. I got cramps in both arches and had to break the push press and squats 8/7 and still thought I might die. Everyone is so quick on the run.… Read more »

A. 3:59,3:42,3:52,3:50,3:52 RX. I went un-broken on every set of the push press…SUPER PUMPED about that! That hurt…it was a mental game for me today.
Traps are sore from the power cleans last week! I had a post surgery PR of 250# on the power clean, btw!

Traveling for work, dropped in to Crossfit Tucson. Today was Murph ? 48:49 Rx the coach was “kind” enough to lend me his vest. The last mile took about 10mins, my legs didn’t move too well after planes and cars the past two days. Definitely have the black lung cough now too 😉

Tower was supposed to be rower, and “from the jump” is a basketball reference. Games are started with a “jump ball” so it’s synonymous with “from the beginning.”

C2B UB 3/6 then 5/4, 4/4/4, 4/4/…. This is where my mind went dark.
Tried to stay smooth in the movements and not rush anything. Fran lung was in full effect.

Congratulations to everyone on completing the open! I’m going to go Rx on some ice cream tonight to celebrate!!

Started out with 30 minutes of stretching and mobility…thanx for all new videos Michele!!
After doing 18.5 on Saturday and Sunday I wanted NO part of pushing or pulling anything…and basically nothing to do with the BB at all! So today went like this
E8MOM for 5 sets
50 DU (UB/UB/3misses/UB/UB)
20 GHD sit ups (all UB)
20 Alt Pistols (a little rusty)
400m Run (around 1:40-1:45 each round)
4:39/4:39/4:38/4:37/4:38
***So Happy to get 4 rounds of 50 DU UB…OMG I’ve only ever gotten 50 UB one other time!!!
