Workout of the Day
For the 2015 Open season, Invictus Athletes’ Camp coach Heidi Fearon will be creating a unique guided visualization for each week of the Open. Each visualization will be specifically tailored to the Open event and available for download by Friday morning. You’ll be able to purchase each visualization individually for only $5.99 each at Invictus Guided Visualizations.

CrossFit Games Open Event 15.3
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 14 minutes of:
7 muscle-ups
50 wall-ball shots
100 double-unders

Men use 20-lb. ball to 10 feet, Women use 14-lb. ball to 9 feet

OR…

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 14 minutes of:
50 wall-ball shots
200 single-unders

Men use 20-lb. ball to 9 feet, Women use 10-lb. ball to 9 feet

Yeah, hoping it’s nothing that major, but it has been a pretty consistant pain. Feels like my arm is catching something and a sharp pain when I move it up and backwards.

Completely destroyed mentally before I even started the WOD, those 80 chest to barr pullups from yesterday destroyed my shoulders, but there was no way I was passing this up since is an almost 2012 and 2013 open wod so I had to compare my MU since I couldnt do them in 2012, wow crossfit has changed I made it to Regionals North West in 2012 without knowing how to do muscle ups, you can’t do that anymore, muscle ups are a most…… so first rd garbage, MU one at a time, made up on WB with 50 unbroken and… Read more »

Big day for me…dropped in at CrossFit St. Simons for a workout on vacation. Yall…. I got my first muscle up during skills practice!!!!!! So exciting. So pumped. I was tempted to do 15.3 as Rx’d but knew I’d likely injure myself with MUs.

Did 50 WB shots and 100 DUs (since I’m not competing).

Got 209…DUs killed me.

But MUSCLE UPS!!!!

Just wanted to share. 🙂

Happy with MU (7, 4/3, 3/2/2), tired DU were a challenge. Ready for some rest days.

I hear you. I am “shadowing” the Open, not officially registered so I almost punted this one. Motivation was a little low. I worked hard yesterday, but I scaled C2B (and didn’t do 10 rounds, you freak!) so was OK there. I think maybe with fresh legs I could have made a better run at 3 rds but it’s in the books:)

I am a hot mess!!! I don’t have the ability to do muscle ups, so I thought I would go for bar muscle ups. Well after getting 5 and not being able to get the 6th is submitted… I stopped the clock, reset the time, and went scaled, or so I thought. 50 wall balls 20# at 10′ 200 Double Unders Somewhere on round two the thought ran through my mind “interesting that scaled is double unders.
