Well… this morning I clocked myself in the chin with a jerk, had have Sean untie my shoe so I could retie it, and then started doing ground to overhead instead of STO. Its a miracle I got any work done.
A.
125# not a PR… PCl 130×2 then see above
B.
7:58 Rx’d. STO went better once I stopped throwing a clean inbtwn them, had grip issues w/ T2Bs and DUs felt good:)
1) Didn’t PR my C&J; this is my third week in a row of maxing this out.
2) I think it was 12 something, RX’d. The StoOH was cake for me and the DUs were fine; my T2B sucked. I can kip them find when I do them stand alone but throw them into a MetCon and I can’t find a rhythm. :-/
A. Worked up to 205 (PR).
B. 9:31 (Rx). It’s so amazing to see people cycle through TTBs like they’re nothing…so impressive! I’ll keep working on it.
Going back to CJ’s post from a few days ago, I had the opportunity to try the 4:30 class today (i.e., I slept in), and it was pretty amazing to see what goes on in the afternoon at Invictus. It was like a who’s who in Crossfit, Rowing, and Oly: CJ, Cami, Dave, Cody, Shane, Nichole, and Calvin all in the same place at the same time. That is some serious talent! Back to the 6 am class tomorrow…alarm clock permitting
A) 165 lbs. Kinda bummed, it was 13 lbs less than my PR for C&J. Once I failed to get 175 overhead, I felt strong with the cleans and decided to keep going. I was stoked to get a PR of 190 lbs (181 was previous) Lottta’ work to do on jerk technique. Definately jealous of the new group Oly classes.
B). 7:01 RX’d. Felt somewhat redeemed from the weak jerk performance. :)
B) 11:20 rx’d. Thanks CJ! You sure know my that TTB are my weakness! Less than a month and I’ll be back. Miss you all!
A) 135lbs….not a PR.
B) 6:51 Rx. I was really pleased with myself for doing it all unbroken. The T2B were slow but I stayed on the bar. So all smiles this morning

I jerked 85#s into my jaw a couple weeks ago. I was warming up and not paying attention. That will wake you up.
A. 200. Almost had 205
B. 10:36. The shoulder to overhead was tough after being winded from the DUs.
A) 205lb about 40lb off my pr. Wasn’t feeling it today
B) 6:43(rx’d)

A: Worked up to 175#
B: 12 something as rx’d…double unders still not in my bag, feel exhausted going from there to STO.

Nice time Chris. I have some catching up to do on DUs.
Nice clean & jerk. I think you’ll catch me on the doubles before I catch up to that 205.
