I should mention the wall balls aren't legit as they get rebounded from the ceiling so it's a faster rep. So don't think that I sped up gravity or anything, haha.

Courtland is actually right the third number is the concentric or positive and first number is eccentric or lowering. Search Concentric and there's a blog on it. Alot of benefit in proper tempo training. Good luck!!

A. Did some jerks instead of push presses

B. 3:37. Everything unbroken except a two dropped balls on round 2 and 3.

Man, my quads are still smoked from the 100 thrusters and 50 burpees on Monday. Gonna do the open WOD on Saturday so I'm gonna do my best to recover them beforehand. Any suggestions?

Hi CJ, thanks for response
By inflammation I mean that I got inflammation of a tendon and its enveloping sheath
I think that they call it tenosynovitis and it's caused by repetitive movements without you got the strength needed for the movement.
And in my situation it means that I did a lot of muscle ups with weak forearms.
And now I can't even hold on a bar before it kicks the s*** out of me.

Hey crew,

Great job today! I was having fun on a zip line with my entire family here in Maui when the word came out . . . 7 minutes of Burpees!!! (And yes, I had my phone with me while I was zipping so I could find out and chat with my coaches.)

I will probably post this up on the blog for tomorrow, but I don't really think any competitive CrossFitter has room to complain about this one. In fact, I will go so far as to say I like this workout. Here's why . . . EVERYONE can do burpees. This is a low skill movement with ZERO transitions to other movements/apparatus. So, those who will perform the best will be those with the proper mindset and mental fortitude. In essence, this is a test of your willingness to succeed. If you have a goal, a proper mindset and a good mantra, you will do VERY WELL on this workout.

On the flip side, if you go into the workout dreading burpees or getting pissed off that there isn't a barbell involved, you'll make it to approximately minute 3 before it feels as if the whole world is caving in on you.

"Invictus" isn't just the name of the gym...it's a mindset. You are the masters of your fate, the captains of your soul. You will dictate the internal monologue for 7 minutes of your life, and if you control your thoughts, your body will obey your mind and you will exceed your expectations of what is possible.

I am confident that those following this programming (we've been doing lots of burpees for a long time now) will understand what it means to be "unconquerable" and will approach this workout with enthusiasm and a willingness to break through any perceived mental barrier that could hold them back from the absolute best their body has to offer.

Thanks for the message Mark . . . and thank you Noah for the kind words.

Mark, if you're looking for a general fitness program with a priority on building strength, I would probably suggest following the "Performance" workouts until you are comfortable and competent with performing all of the movements and loads as prescribed. The Competition program is much more specific to the needs of CrossFit competitive athletes. The movements we prescribe tend to be more technical/complex than those of the Performance program, and for folks who are not really competent with those movements, that often means moving lighter loads and not attaining the same training stimulus that we could elicit if you were performing simpler movements.

So, my suggestion would be to follow (and post results to) the Performance program.

Hope to see your name popping up there!

Welcome Deniz. Not sure I understand what you mean by inflammation. If you tell us a little bit more, we might be able to provide some guidance.
