Did anyone run the San Diego Half Marathon yesterday? I heard it was an amazing experience for folks running into Petco park for the finish. I know Miné set a PR with an unofficial time of 1:51 which included running up Washington St. - how about that? Did anyone else PR? Read more →We had a great weekend with 2 events – crossfit extravaganza @ San Diego Running Institute Saturday morning was a great success. We had all sorts of good questions about the way we train and everyone participated in a fun 15 minute team workout of 200M sprints, burpees and plank holds. Sunday we put on a run clinic @ Lululemon where we covered the basics of run mechanics – good times were had. Read more →Great night yesterday to be back on the track The workout being a little shorter, so we were able to get some good running drills to emphasize proper mechanics – remember the ideal POSE, the falling that occurs and pulling of the foot, simple right? Easy to understand but can take a lifetime to master. New folks this week – Ryan S., Edgar, Ian A. – keep bringing your friends, its always super fun to run in a group than by yourself. I am thinking once it gets lighter outside we will be going mobile more often – what do you all think? In case you missed it – we ran 1.5 miles, rested 5 minutes and did it again.
