We are only 3 hours into a 20-hour Athletes’ Camp weekend and I am already amped and grateful. I’ll keep this short with hopes that I can curb my enthusiasm enough to get some sleep tonight, but want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Noah Pester, Ryan Swobody and the rest of the crew at CrossFit Marysville.
This is our first athletes’ training camp outside of San Diego, and I couldn’t have imagined a better gym to host it. The gym is awesome, and perfectly appointed to accommodate all of the athletes. More importantly, their community makes us all feel right at home. The CrossFit Marysville crew is certainly the Northwest sibling of the Sea of Green.
The energy in the gym tonight was fantastic and fueled the majority of the participants on to front squat PRs, and pushed a lot of folks well beyond their perceived limits on our fun little team conditioning session. In just 3 hours we saw everything that makes this community great – camaraderie, support, encouragement, hard work, goal achievement, etc…. I can’t wait for the rest of the weekend!
I will have much more to say about the weekend in 48 hours, but for now, I couldn’t be more grateful to Noah, Ryan and the CrossFit Marysville crew for providing us such an amazing opportunity to hang out with and coach so many of our friends from the Northwest.
