Everyone sees the group at the front of the gym in the evenings, spinning away on their rowing machines, clearly having the time of their lives. Well, get excited because now is your opportunity to get in the mix!
Starting October 1, we’ll be opening rowing club up to new members. Whether you’ve done it before or this is your first crack at cleaning up your rowing technique you’re welcome to join.
Here’s how it works:
- Join us once a month for our saturday rowing test out. The next one is this Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. Here we’ll cover the basics of the rowing stroke, from technique to strategy. If you’re already experienced, you can test-out of this session and go straight to the groups.
- Once you’ve graduated from the test out, you can jump into one of the two evening classes we offer each week. Either Tuesday at 5:30, or Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
- You’ll have two workouts a week. One with the group you attend and one prescribed for the middle of your week that you’ll perform when you have the time.
- Once you join, you’ll have opportunities to experience different parts of rowing like getting in a boat and trying real rowing, competing at an indoor rowing competition, and learning the ropes of how the rowing mentality will help your CrossFit workouts.
When you enroll, you’re committing to a one month period. After that month, when you’ve decided that you absolutely love it, you can simply stay in and develop your skills even further.
