Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook is Here!!!

Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook is Here!!!
Written by Courtney Johnson

Today was like Christmas for me at the gym, with the arrival of our shipment of the new Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook.  For those of you who don’t know, this is the second cookbook from Sarah Fragoso, the first was simply titled Everyday Paleo.

I got my first copy of Everyday Paleo two years ago.  If you looked at it now you would think I’ve had if for much longer than that, the pages and cover are covered with oil and sauce splatters.  Needless to say, it gets a lot of use.

When CJ first introduced me to Paleo nutrition many years ago, I was very intimidated.  I loved to cook, but my cooking consisted of mostly baking.  (I naively tried to woo him with my famous coffee cake when we first started dating.)  I was scared my baking talents wouldn’t get me very far with cooking Paleo.  Fast forward two years and I was an avid Paleo chef, coming up with many of my own recipes.  Cooking Paleo forced me to think outside the box and try new things.  I actually became a much better cook because of it.  After two years though I found myself in a rut, it was hard to constantly come up with new recipes every week, figuring out what to have for dinner started becoming stressful.

Out came Everyday Paleo, the answer to my cooking block prayers!  It was great for me to finally have a selection of Paleo recipes to choose from.  No longer did I have to spend all day trying to figure out what Paleo creation I could come up with, Sarah had done that for me!

I don’t always have a ton of time to cook at night, either does Everyday Paleo author Sarah Fragoso, who has three boys and somehow figured out how to make great, tasty and quick recipes.  I haven’t had a chance to try any of the recipes from the newest cookbook, but I have yet to try one of her recipes that I haven’t liked.

The best part about the book is that it doesn’t just include recipes.  The Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook also has a basic food guide and advice on how to get started cooking Paleo.  She tells you what Paleo staples you should always have on hand, as well as a one week meal plan which includes a shopping list.  For all of you moms out there she even gives you suggestions on how to make Paleo lunches for your kids to take to school.

If you are just starting to cook Paleo or are even an accomplished Paleo chef, you will love Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook.  And the best part is we now have in for sale at Invictus!! This book was just released and is so popular already that is in on back order on Amazon.  Have no fear, we have a large stock waiting for you here at Invictus!

  1. My wife, Lindsey, and I have been struggling trying to find ways to eat better and make our kids understand the importance as well. We bought the first book and enjoyed a few recipes and got stuck. We purchased the Family cookbook on Tuesday and have already used 2 recipes; both of which were outstanding.

If you are looking to make a lifestyle change and also make it an easy transition….I would highly recommend getting the books. They have made things much easier for us.

  2. Thanks for this article Courtney. After a year of eating basically the same food, I am getting a little burned out on my Paleo diet. I will check these out, along with some of the yummy recipes from Michele’s book.
