Cheddies, not to rain on your parade, but if the flax seeds are whole, you&#039;re not getting much of anything from them.  They come out the same way they go in unless you grind them (not that you necessarily have to check).</description>

		<description>Just wanted to give a little foodie shout-out to this new delight I discovered at Trader Joe&#039;s:  Almond butter with flaxseeds!!!  The almond butter itself is smooth but the whole flaxseeds offer a nice crunch and nutty taste (okay... I guess it would be a seedy taste, but nutty taste sounds better).  It&#039;s been eaten in our household on apples, by the spoonful, AND (GASP!) on bananas!  Downside:  it has sea salt added to it (for all you true Paleo people, I know added salt is a &quot;no-no&quot;), but I will take the 80 mg of sodium for this delicious treat!  Also, although it is minimal, it does offer 325 mg of omega-3 per serving... every little bit helps.
