Happy Belated Birthday to one of our very favorite Invictus members, Ken C. It was Ken's birthday on Thursday and unfortunately, he had to celebrate while out at sea. Ken will be back with us in March - we're already looking forward to his return.

The Invictus Barbell Weightlifting Clinic

The Invictus Barbell Weightlifting Clinic is designed to review three basic barbell movements: The Back Squat, Press, and Deadlift. These movements are fundamental in developing strength, mobility and technical proficiency that carries over to more advanced movements, such as the Olympic lifts. Participants will refine sound mechanics, establish a baseline and then steadily progress each week with a goal of adding a minimum of 5 lbs. to each of their lifts. Invictus Running and Endurance Clinic

Like every other human movement, there is a technique to running which can make you better. The focus of this clinic will be on improving run mechanics, allowing you to move more efficiently and reduce your chance of injury; attendees will also learn about nutrition for endurance athletes, injury prevention, and endurance programming.
